Museums going Digital
The new rise of the digital world is having an effect on almost everything. When it comes to anything new. There are both negative and positive effects of museums becoming digital. Museums have the ability to save cultures from the past. Using digital technology, call enhance cultures that may be forgotten. Technology, will allow things in museums to be interactive. Digital technology, will also allow museums to appeal to young people. In addition to that, digital technology, could geneate economies. This could be done because it can decrease cost. The biggest benefit is the access it can give to people. Digital technology allows, access to people who would otherwise not have it. These are all good things. There are some negative effects, of museums going digital. In certain cultures, there are no records. There are also no written documents. The only way the cultures is learned about is by the spoken word. The use of digital technology can cause the spoken tradition to be lost or altered. Another negative effect, is digital techology can cause museums to lose some of its educational benefits. This occcur because information may be lost, meaning people are less education. Overall, there were very few negative effects. Museums going digital can allow more people to enjoy and learn about different cultures. This can allow history to come alive for many people.
